Toyota 4 Runner 1996 To 2002 Class 3 Trailer Hitch 70511
 Hidden Hitch greatly improves the appearance of your 4Runner compared to conventional square tube hitch receivers. Uses 2 1/2 inch bent round tubing to follow the contours of the vehicle's rear bumper and hides as much of the receiver as possible. Exposed design complements the rear contours
and aerodynamic styling of today's vehicles. Black powder coat finish. Class 3 / III, 2 inch x 2 inch receiver opening. All hardware and instructions included.
Note: Receiver ball mount bar, wiring harness and trailer hitch ball sold separately.

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Remove the two tie down brackets from the frame (one per side).
- Fasten hitch assembly to the frame bottom (between frame and tie down
brackets) using the existing weld nuts inside frame and hardware supplied. Refer to the
illustration on the instruction sheet for clarification. NOTE: Tie down brackets must be reinstalled to their original location.
- Thread coiled end of bolt leader onto carriage bolt. Insert other end
of bolt leader through hole of reinforcing plate. Bend bolt leader
90 degrees, 1 inch back from leading end of wire. Insert leading end of bolt leader through access area
at end of frame rail and pull through existing hole for fastening. Pull assembly
down through frame until bolt is into position.
- Use the remaining hole in each frame bracket as a guide, drill a 1/2”
diameter hole through the bottom of the frame.
- Assemble carriage bolt through reinforcing plate and install into
rear hole of frame rail (one per side).
- Tighten all bolts; refer to torque table on the instruction sheet.
TOOLS REQUIRED: 1/2 inch capacity drill; 1/2 inch diameter drill bit; 3/4 inch, 18mm and 19
mm sockets and wrenches; ratchet or impact gun to suit; 100 FT/LB torque wrench.
