Mercury Mariner 2005 To 2007 Class 3 Trailer Hitch 70758
 Hidden Hitch greatly improves the appearance of your Mariner compared to conventional square tube hitch receivers. Uses 2 1/2 inch bent round tubing to follow the contours of the vehicle's rear bumper and hides as much of the receiver as possible. Exposed design complements the rear contours
and aerodynamic styling of today's vehicles. Black powder coat finish. Class 3 / III, 2 inch x 2 inch receiver opening. All hardware and instructions included.
Note: Receiver ball mount bar, wiring harness and trailer hitch ball sold separately.

INSTRUCTIONS for vehicles without existing OEM hitch :
- Thread bolt leader onto carriage bolt, then insert the other end
through hole in reinforcing plate. Fish bolt leader
and assembly through access hole in frame and carefully pull down through
existing hole in frame until bolt is into position. Refer
to illustration for clarification. Note: Enlarge slot on driver’s side, to pass
hardware through.
- Attach hitch assembly, refer to illustration.
- Torque all 1/2 inch hardware to 72 ft-lbs, torque all 12mm hardware to 64 ft-lbs.
Remove the two rearward muffler hangers to access hardware
on passenger side to allow for proper torque of nut.
TOOLS REQUIRED: 18, 19 mm & 3/4 inch sockets, ratchet or impact gun to suit, 100
FT/LB torque wrench.
