Jeep Grand Cherokee 1999 To 2004 Class 3 Trailer Hitch 70594
 Hidden Hitch greatly improves the appearance of your Grand Cherokee compared to conventional square tube hitch receivers. Uses 2 1/2 inch bent round tubing to follow the contours of the vehicle's rear bumper and hides as much of the receiver as possible. Exposed design complements the rear contours
and aerodynamic styling of today's vehicles. Black powder coat finish. Class 3 / III, 2 inch x 2 inch receiver opening. All hardware and instructions included. Note: Receiver ball mount bar, wiring harness and trailer hitch ball sold separately.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Note : For 2002 vehicles with fuel tank blocker bracket, mount the hitch then the
blocker bracket below the hitch. Use spacer provided with the
blocker bracket (on the front hole of the blocker bracket) refer to blocker
bracket instructions. (WARNING: Do not remove all 4 bolts from one side of the
fuel tank shield at once)
- Remove bolts (2 per side) holding gas tank shield, and save.
- Loosely fasten hitch to frame using proper hardware (see Illustration for
clarification). If the hitch is hitting fuel lines when you are trying to
put it up it
needs to be temporally moved more to the rear of the vehicle.
- Note: existing strap on some 2001 and 2002 vehicles, spacer
will not be needed if this strap is used.
- Socket swivel and extension will be required to install the hardware on the 4
rear bolts.
- Tighten all bolts, existing hardware tighten to 65 ft-lbs, refer to
torque table on the instruction sheet.
TOOLS REQUIRED: 18mm socket, swivel, 6”extention, ratchet or impact gun to suit, 100
FT/LB torque wrench.
