HomeLink Wireless Remote Control System With Gentex Auto Dimming Mirror 50-GENK40
HomeLink ®, is a wireless control system that learns the codes for up to three remote control devices. Now available in a Gentex auto-dimming rearview mirror. It wirelessly operates garage doors, gates, locks, home or business security systems, home lights. Great for gated communities. No more fumbling to find the remote controls. No more crowded visors with multiple remotes for garage door openers, security lights and entry gates. Now all these devices can be operated with dedicated buttons integrated into a auto-dimming inside rearview mirror equipped with HomeLink.
Auto dimming mirrors eliminate dangerous glare from the vehicles traveling behind. It detects glare and automatically dims to preserve driver vision and make night time driving safer. Gentex rear view auto dimming mirrors are based on the science of electrochromics, which is the process of reversibly darkening materials by applying electricity. During night time driving, the mirrors use a combination of sophisticated sensors and electronic circuitry to detect glare from rearward approaching vehicles and darken accordingly to eliminate the glare and preserve driver vision.
HomeLink is compatible with 98% of garage door opening systems available today. Compatible with radio-frequency devices operating between 288-399MHz.
Compatible product manufacturers: Allstar, Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Linear, Elite, Sentex, Sears Craftsman, Wayne Dalton, Kwikset, Weiser Lock, Black & Decker, Lutron and Radio Shack.
Note: Some vehicles may require the ignition switch to be turned to the second (or accessories) position for programming and/or operation of HomeLink ®. It is also recommended that a new battery be placed in the hand-held transmitter of the device being programmed to HomeLink for quicker training and accurate transmission of the radio-frequency signal.
